I'm Sarah, and I offer trauma- informed home support (everything from decluttering and depression cleans to burnout resets and emotional item sorting).

Trauma-informed means I work with compassion and understanding for people going through burnout, grief, or mental health challenges. I know how heavy it can feel to face these tasks alone so there's no judgement here, only help.

Whether you need a one-off home reset, regular weekly visits or extra hands for errands and school pick ups (eg.), I'm here to ease the mental load.

Rates: $50/HR weekdays, $70/HR weekends (three hour minimum for first booking)

Travel: No extra charge within 30km of Eleebana (happy to travel further if needed)

Availability: 8am - 10pm, flexible to suit your needs

Style: We can work side-by-side, or I can handle everything so you can rest or focus elsewhere.

Truck: A truck can be arranged with 24 hours notice for bigger jobs (or last minute getaways). This will be quoted.

Your home should feel like a safe space to land -

I will help you get there.

Trauma-Informed Home Management

Gentle, practical help for when life feels overwhelming.

My home management journey

Folding laundry an Belmont, NSW

Hi, I’m Sarah — founder of Home and Soul.

I created this service from my own lived experience: the exhaustion of keeping it all together, the quiet chaos of trauma, and the deep longing for someone to just help — gently, without judgment.

I live with CPTSD, and I’ve learned over time that healing doesn’t mean having a spotless house or ticking every box. It means having support. It means feeling safe enough to exhale. That’s what I offer to the people I work with.

Whether I’m folding laundry, picking up the kids, prepping for Airbnb guests, or helping clear the overwhelm — I bring presence, softness, and steadiness. I don’t just “get it” — I’ve lived it. And I want your home to feel like a place that meets you where you are.

This work is practical, but it’s sacred to me.

Because care isn’t just something we give — it’s something we hold, together.

What is trauma-informed home management?

Trauma-informed home management is a way of offering support that understands the emotional weight behind everyday life. It’s not just cleaning or organising - it’s care with compassion. Why is it needed? Because for many people - especially those living with CPTSD, burnout, ADHD, grief, or anxiety - traditional home help feels too clinical, too rushed or too impersonal. Trauma-informed home management is care that sees the whole person. It’s about helping without overwhelming.Making space feel safe. And offering support that actually supports.

It means:

  • You don’t just help someone clean their house - you meet them where they are, without shame or pressure.

  • You notice when their nervous system is overwhelmed - and you slow down instead of pushing through.

  • You create structure, not control. Calm, not chaos. Safety in small steps.

It’s for the households where:

  • Everyday tasks feel heavy and never-ending

  • Mental load has become physical fatigue

  • Trauma, grief, or stress makes “normal” support feel inaccessible.

In practice, it looks like:

  • Folding laundry for someone who feels too frozen to start

  • Gentle conversation, or quiet presence, depending on what’s needed

  • Creating a peaceful space without judgment

  • Helping a household feel manageable again — and maybe even beautiful.

“Very easy to communicate and plan with. Sarah has a positive personality and want to do the right thing and will ask is she isn't sure about something so she gets it right for you. Very easy to work with!”
